No More Leaks

Often times, in the poverty stricken areas of Mexico, the people make their homes out of whatever materials they can find, leaving parts of their roof without a tight seal.  Sometimes, they build flat cement roofs, which crack over time. Either option leaves the people with leaks in their roofs, which is quite troublesome during the rainy season. Eventually, we would like to bring a team down to the small town of Heroes de la Independencia (which we delivered shoes to back in July) to help repair the roofs for our new friend Alma and her village. This is quite a big project and will take some time to raise the funds for it. So for now, we wanted to help by at least delivering tarps down to them so they can cover the leaks.  They also mentioned needing coats for the winter so we gathered our funds and made a delivery.  We sent down 20 extra large tarps and 6 coats. Thank you to anyone who made donations to help this lovely village!
