Help Thy Neighbor... 

Sometimes you do not have to travel far to find people in need. Chris ran into this lovely couple outside a grocery store when he noticed some teenagers bullying Cary.  Let's just say those teenagers won't be messing with Cary again after Chris had a word with them ;) Since then, we have come to learn about their physical and mental disabilities, as well as bit about their financial struggles. Cary and VJ struggle to get food on their plates each night so we made numerous trips to their place to deliver groceries or sometimes just to visit and enjoy their company. They were living on their own in Concord, CA when they were evicted out of their apartment, due to a reduction in low income housing. Luckily, a friend of theirs allowed them to move in with them in Sacramento! Due to their disabilities, Cary and VJ had a hard time keeping their apartment clean and we knew it would be a challenge organizing everything for the big move. Chris and Linda made a trip out to Cary and VJ's apartment to help them organize and pack up for their big move. We are happy to announce they are now in Sacramento, living well and happy.
