When Linda met Chris, she knew that he was the one when she realized that he had spent his life doing what she had always dreamed of doing.  She would react in amazement to his stories about all the journeys he took around the world helping people in crisis and he would humbly say "Oh, it's nothing...just a small dent." Linda would reply "It may be just a dent to some, honey, but to those you helped, it changed their whole world." Valentine's Day, she gave him a spinning globe with a small inscription that said "Let's Make a Dent Together." From that day forward, they knew that, together, they were destined to help others in need around the world.

Chris has an abundance of experience in organizing and leading groups all over the world, from digging wells in Africa to helping young girls escape the sex slave trade in Thailand. He is the co-founder of a relief agency that has responded to many natural disasters worldwide. He has lived for long periods of time among many different cultures, helping them thrive and gain sustainable skills. He has such a big place in his heart for the homeless that even on a local level, he reaches out to the poverty stricken families near by.

Linda comes from a career of teaching children and directing programs. She has always had a strong place in her heart for children but has an exceptional ability to connect with all ages. She, too, has always had the desire to help those in need and reaches out to the local homeless community as often as she can.
